The
weekend Pub Sing started with the soon-to-become-customary donning
of the apron (note Jack and Zack's number tags for singles' weekend;
Jack's number is 2½, while Zack's number is somewhat larger) |
|
Though
the young lady was unclear on the concept of exactly how many people
are supposed to wear an apron at one time (or perhaps she had her
own, very clear ideas on the matter), Jack did little to enlighten
her |
Even
Emrys Fleet's rat came dressed (stickered) for the occasion |
|
|
|
|
There
was fierce competition for the title of "hottest couple" |
|
Once
again, Their Majesties get swept off their feet by the Rackhams
(and once again, the King gets the short end of the stick - about
7 inches shorter, based on the stickers) |
But
it's probably clear, based on the awarding of the Mardi Gras
beads ... |
|
|
|
...
just who Jack's favourite really is |
|
Then
His Majesty granted Revel Grove's most elligible bachelorette,
Molly Campbell, asking her to pick out a man whom she'd like
to wed |
|
|
|
Molly
searches in earnest, but has trouble picking one out of the throng
of people at the White Hart |
|
His
Majesty commands that all men of the village stand up |
|
This
is obviously some strange, new usage of the word "stand"
that I was previously unaware of |
|
|
To
speed things along, His Majesty marries Molly to all the elligible
men in the village, en masse |
|
"And
do you, Molly, take these men as your lawfully wedded husbands,
for as long as ye both shall like?" |
|
Finally,
Nymblewyke climbed aboard Manny for the nightly fireball, with some
unexpected assistance |
|
The
little white blobs floating behind him are marshmallows - Scratch
had found a tree limb, skewered a marshmallow on every avalaible
twig, and patiently waited behind Nymblewyke for possibly the world's
largest simultaneous marshmallow roast |
